Preamble
We, the people of Jesstingten, establish this Constitution to affirm our unity, protect our rights, and guide our nation. Jesstingten exists to empower its citizens through collective ownership, shared responsibility, and democratic participation, under the leadership of the Head of State.
Article I – Sovereignty
The Republic of Jesstingten is sovereign and independent. All government resources are owned collectively by the people, ensuring equal access and benefit for every citizen.
Article II – Head of State (HOS)
- The Head of State is the permanent leader of Jesstingten.
- The HOS proposes laws, policies, and initiatives.
- Proposals normally require approval by at least 50% of the population, with the HOS vote carrying 15% weight.
- The HOS may override the outcome of a vote in extraordinary circumstances.
- Overrides are permitted but frowned upon and must be justified publicly to the citizens.
- All overrides must be recorded and published for transparency.
Article III – Citizenship
Citizenship may be granted by:
- Passing the official Citizenship Test
- Selection by the Head of State
Article IV – Decision-Making
All proposals must be presented by the HOS. Citizens vote to approve or reject proposals. A proposal passes if:
- 50% or more of citizens vote in favor
- The HOS vote (15%) is included in the total calculation
- In rare cases, the HOS may override the result, but this action must be explained to the people
Article V – Rights of Citizens

- 🎓 Access to education and civic knowledge
- 🌐 Participation in assemblies and forums
- 🛡️ The right to defend themselves and their property with reasonable force
- 👮 The right to perform citizen’s arrest when witnessing unlawful acts, provided it is done responsibly and reported to authorities
Article VI – Responsibilities of Citizens
- ✅ Respect the rights and voices of fellow citizens
- ✅ Participate in votes and discussions
- ✅ Contribute to the unity and prosperity of Jesstingten
Article VII – Transparency & Amendments
- All government decisions and votes must be recorded and made accessible to the public
- The Constitution may be amended if proposed by the HOS and approved by at least 60% of the population
Article VIII – Law and Justice
- Citizens have the right to defend themselves and their property with reasonable force
- Citizens may perform a citizen’s arrest when witnessing unlawful acts
- All citizen’s arrests must be reported immediately to the Head of State or designated authorities
- Abuse of self‑defense or citizen’s arrest powers will be subject to review and sanction
- The justice system of Jesstingten exists to protect the people, uphold fairness, and prevent misuse of authority
Article IX – National Troopers
- The National Troopers are the official guardians of Jesstingten
- They maintain peace, enforce laws, and protect citizens
- Duties include responding to emergencies, supporting lawful citizen’s arrests, and safeguarding national resources
- The Troopers operate under the authority of the Head of State but must act with fairness and discipline
- Abuse of power by Troopers will be subject to review and sanction
